Warranty Policy – iFixandCare

iFixandCare stands behind the quality of our repair work. This warranty policy explains what is covered and what is not covered after your repair service.


1. Warranty Coverage

Most repairs include a limited warranty covering the replaced part and workmanship under normal use conditions.

If the replaced component fails due to a defect or installation issue, we will repair or replace the part at no additional cost within the warranty period.

Warranty period may vary depending on the repair performed.


2. What the Warranty Covers

  • Defective replacement parts
  • Installation or workmanship issues
  • Touch malfunction after screen replacement (not caused by impact)
  • Charging issues related to replaced charging port
  • Battery malfunction due to part failure

3. What Is NOT Covered

The warranty becomes void if the device shows signs of the following conditions after leaving iFixandCare:

Physical Damage

  • Cracked screen after repair
  • Bent frame or housing
  • Impact marks or drops
  • Pressure damage

Display & Internal Screen Damage (Not Covered)

The warranty does not cover internal display damage occurring after pickup, including:

  • Internal LCD or OLED cracks without outer glass damage
  • Black spots, ink-like bleeding, or spreading dark areas
  • Vertical or horizontal screen lines
  • Screen turning black after drop or pressure
  • Touch working but no visible image
  • Image only visible under bright light
  • Damage from sitting on device or tight pocket pressure

Internal display panels are fragile components and may fail due to minor impact, bending, or pressure after repair. This is considered physical damage and voids warranty coverage.

Liquid Damage

  • Water or moisture exposure after service
  • Corrosion inside the device

Tampering

  • Device opened by another repair shop
  • Self-repair attempts
  • Parts replaced by third party

Software Issues

  • iOS or Android update problems
  • Apple “Unknown Part” messages
  • Account locks (Apple ID / Google lock)
  • Third-party app conflicts

Normal Wear

  • Battery wear over time
  • Cosmetic scratches
  • Reduced water resistance after repair

4. Pre-Existing Conditions

iFixandCare is not responsible for issues discovered after repair caused by prior damage, previous repairs, or motherboard failure unrelated to the replaced part.


5. Data Responsibility

Customers are responsible for backing up all personal data before repair.
iFixandCare is not liable for data loss during or after service.


6. Warranty Claims

To request warranty service:

  1. Bring device with proof of service
  2. Device will be inspected by technician
  3. Covered issues will be repaired at no charge

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the original repair cost. We are not responsible for loss of use, inconvenience, or consequential damages.
